Paul joined NEPC in June 2009, with plan administration experience dating back to 1977. He is a member of the Defined Contribution Consulting Practice and leads NEPC’s vendor search consulting efforts. Paul has nearly 40 years of consulting experience in the design, communication and administration of qualified and non-qualified retirement programs. His experience includes leading numerous provider searches, participating in finalist presentations and site visits, and being responsible for expanding and enhancing NEPC’s plan administration consulting and vendor search capabilities.
Prior to joining NEPC, Paul was a Vice President at Fidelity Investments, where he provided strategic consulting services to some of Fidelity’s largest mid-corporate clients. Before his employment at Fidelity, he was a Field Vice President at Charles Schwab Corporate Services, in which he managed the relationships of some of Schwab’s largest retirement plan clients. Prior to joining Charles Schwab, Paul was a senior consultant in Watson Wyatt Worldwide’s (now Willis Towers Watson) Boston office where he managed the delivery of services related to pension actuarial, defined contribution recordkeeping and pension administration outsourcing.
Paul is a graduate of the University of Lowell, where he earned a B.S. degree in Mathematics. He is an Associate in the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
