Principal, Senior Consultant
Jeff joined NEPC in 2008 with investment advisory experience dating back to 2002. At NEPC, Jeff is exposed to a variety of client types, including corporate plans, Taft-Hartley pension funds, endowments, and foundations. In supporting clients, he is primarily responsible for the development and monitoring of investment policies and objectives, the modeling and implementation of asset/liability studies, the evaluation and selection of investment managers, and the measurement and analysis of investment performance. Jeff is a member of the firm’s Asset Allocation Committee and a member of the Global Asset Allocation Advisory Group.
Prior to NEPC, Jeff worked at Pillar Financial Advisors as a Senior Investment Consultant. There he designed and implemented comprehensive financial planning and investment strategies for high net worth clients with over $750 million in assets under management. His responsibilities included oversight of the firm's investment manager due diligence process as well as counseling clients on their investment performance and other financial planning issues. Prior to working at Pillar Financial Advisors, Jeff was a Vice President at TSB Asset Management Group. There he managed investment portfolios for high net worth individuals and institutions. He was actively involved in portfolio management, security selection, and client relationship management, as well as with the firm's marketing efforts.
Jeff received his M.B.A. in 2001 from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia. He received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia in 1995. Jeff holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designee.
