Daniel Hennessy, Senior Consultant

Daniel joined NEPC in 2014 and his investment experience dates back to 2000. Daniel is a member of NEPC’s Taft-Hartley and Public Fund teams and is located in our Redwood City, CA office. Daniel joined NEPC from Alan Biller and Associates, where he had worked since 2011 as a Senior Consultant. At Allan Biller, Daniel serviced a variety of institutional client plans’ including defined benefit, defined contribution and health and welfare Taft-Hartley multi-employer plans. Prior to joining Allan Biller, Daniel was Founder and Principal of Accretive Research & Management LLC, where he was responsible for equity research for a $1 billion small/mid-cap investment firm based in San Francisco, CA. Daniel also provided portfolio management services for high-net-worth accounts. Prior to that, Daniel was a Vice President at Franklin Templeton Investments. At Franklin Templeton, Daniel was a senior consumer analyst managing of team of investment professionals and was a Co-Portfolio Manager of a long/short fund. Daniel holds a B.A. degree in Mathematical Economics from Pomona College and a M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Daniel holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.
