Dan joined NEPC in 2012 and began his career in the investment industry in 1998. He specializes in consulting to defined contribution plans on plan design, investment and governance issues. In addition to his client responsibilities, Dan has contributed to the effort behind NEPC’s annual Defined Contribution Plan and Fee Survey, and has co-authored white papers on that topic. Dan is also a Boston Ambassador for the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA).
Prior to joining NEPC, Dan worked as a senior analyst for eight years at ING within its defined contribution investment group. His primary responsibilities included production and presentation of quarterly investment reviews and investment manager research. Prior to ING, he worked at John Hancock Signature Services and Putnam Investments in operations for 401(k) plan recordkeeping.
Dan earned his B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from Boston College.
