Senior Research Consultant, Private Markets
Chris is a member of the Firm’s Private Markets Research Group. He is responsible for conducting manager due diligence, providing educational overviews to clients for various private equity and private debt strategies and constructing investment plans for implementation in client portfolios. Chris also serves as a Portfolio Construction Co-Lead on the Firm’s Credit Beta Group
Chris joined NEPC in 2013 as a member of the Private Markets Research Team. After a year as a Sr. Vice President at EnTrustPermal where he worked on the Consultant Relations team, Chris returned to NEPC in 2017. Prior to NEPC, Chris was the Director of Alternatives at the Louisiana State Employees Retirement System (LASERS). At LASERS, he led the alternative asset program for the state employees’ $9.0+ billion retirement system, with responsibility for asset allocation, risk management and portfolio construction of the alternatives portfolio.
Chris earned his M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He also has an M.S. in Finance and B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Zoology from LSU. Chris holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst (CAIA) designations.
