General Search for Public Equity Strategies with a Gender Lens Focus
As part of a Client request, NEPC is soliciting proposals from investment management firms to manage mandates in an endowment portfolio (and potentially a defined benefit plan). The search seeks to gather responses from strategies managed with a gender lens mandate or a focus on gender diversity.
In order to be considered, each strategy must have a live track record of at least one year and assets of at least $75 million within the proposed strategy. We may consider strategies that do not meet these requirements on a case by case basis. If the proposed strategy does not meet the above requirements, please provide reference to other strategies at the firm to illustrate proof of process and team. Managers submitting proposals must work with NEPC to conduct due diligence, as needed. Managers are expected to provide performance data for funds through June 30, 2019.
If you are interested in participating in the search, please update eVestment Alliance through Q2 2019 at www.evestmentalliance.com no later than 3:00 p.m. (EDT) on July 22, 2019. In addition, please provide NEPC with the following information:
- A completed copy of the Cover Letter provided by NEPC for each proposed product
- A completed copy of the Appendix I provided by NEPC for each proposed product
- An email copy of all eVestment Alliance information at the firm and product level for the proposed strategy(s)
All questions should be directed via email to the following contact (no phone calls please). All proposals must be submitted via email to Abby McLaughlin at AMcLaughlin@nepc.com by 3:00 pm (EDT) on July 22, 2019.
Proposals arriving after this deadline will still be reviewed but may not be eligible for consideration in the Client’s portfolio. The subject line of your e-mail must include reference to Gender Lens Investing Search.
Please follow all directions carefully! Any response that is not completed according to the enclosed instructions may be rejected. Please do not fax your response or mail hard copies. Thank you in advance for your participation in this search.
