Timothy R. Bruce

Tim joined NEPC in 2008 as a Senior Research Analyst on the hedge fund team.  Tim is involved in NEPC’s hedge fund research and due diligence activities, in addition to providing consulting services for the non-traditional asset classes of various public, corporate, Taft-Hartley and endowment/foundation clients.  Tim is a member of the firm’s International Equity Advisory Group, Real Assets Group and Alternative Asset Committee.  

Prior to joining NEPC Tim was an Investment Analyst for Partners Healthcare.  As an Investment Analyst, Tim was responsible for conducting investment research and analysis for the institutions' $7.5 billion endowment and pension fund.  He specialized in Foreign Equity and Hedge Fund investments and was accountable for foreign equity and hedge fund allocations, portfolio construction and investment selection.  Tim also worked as an Investment Associate for Partners Healthcare.  As an Investment Associate, Tim performed company visits and due diligence reviews of existing and potential funds, created manager profiles, and outlined investment opportunities and portfolio characteristics. 

Tim received his B.A. from Brown University.
