Scott’s career in the financial services industry began in 2001 and he joined NEPC in 2006. In supporting clients, Scott is primarily responsible for the development and monitoring of investment policies and objectives, the modeling and implementation of asset/liability studies, the evaluation and selection of investment managers, and the measurement and analysis of investment performance. He also is a member of the Alternative Assets Due Diligence Committee and a member of the Small Cap Equity Advisory Group.
Prior to joining NEPC, Scott worked as an Analyst at Ashton Partners, an investor relations advisory firm, where he monitored and analyzed daily industry news and stock performance for clients. Additionally, Scott frequently communicated with numerous buy and sell-side analysts in developing comprehensive perception studies for many small and mid-cap clients. Prior to Ashton Partners, Scott was a Data Analyst at Putnam Investments, where he was charged with performance reporting and performance attribution analysis on a variety of the firm’s products.
Scott received his M.B.A. from Babson College and his B.S.B.A. in Management from Bucknell University. He is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designee.
