Robert J. Fishman, CFA

Rob’s investment career began in 1995, and he joined NEPC in 1999. He specializes in consulting to corporate defined contribution and defined benefit plans on plan design, investment, and governance issues. Rob has co-authored several pieces for NEPC and has been interviewed in industry publications.  Rob is also a member of the International Equity Advisory Group.  He additionally chairs NEPC’s Due Diligence Committee and sits on the Partners Research Committee.

Prior to joining NEPC, Rob worked at Pioneer Investment Management as a Marketing Statistics Analyst. Rob worked closely with the retirement group, where he recommended the appropriate products for new 401(k) plans as well as takeover plans.  Prior to Pioneer, Rob worked as a performance coordinator at Eaton Vance Management.

Rob earned a M.B.A from Bentley College in 1999 and a B.S. in International Business from Ithaca College in 1994. While at Bentley College, Rob was admitted to Beta Gamma Sigma national honor society.  Rob is a CFA charter holder and a member of both the Boston Security Analysts Society, and the CFA Institute.
