Michael joined NEPC in 2008, with his career in the investment industry beginning in 2002. Michael is a member of the Endowment & Foundation Consulting group and focuses primarily on endowment and foundation clients. In addition to his client responsibilities, Michael is also a member of the Real Assets Advisory Group. Prior to joining NEPC in 2008, Michael was employed in the High-Net Worth group at Merrill Lynch working as a team analyst. There he managed the top 20 client relationships by performing investment analysis, portfolio risk management, establishing asset allocation guidelines and constructing portfolios. He also participated in client and prospect meetings, and performed due diligence on various investment managers and asset classes. Prior to working at Merrill Lynch, Michael was employed at Citigroup, Smith Barney as an Associate in the High-Net Worth group.
Michael holds a M.S.F. in Finance from Boston College, M.B.A. from Boston College and received his B.A. with Distinction in Economics and Philosophy from Boston University. Michael is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
