KC Connors, CFA, CAIA

KC joined NEPC in 2010 and began her career in the investment industry in 1988.  At NEPC, KC is a senior consultant to primarily health care and endowment/foundation clients.  KC's background includes expertise in plan consolidations and mergers, risk budgeting, liability driven investing and alternative investments.

Prior to joining NEPC, KC was a Principal at Jeffrey Slocum & Associates and worked with pension plans, endowments/foundations, health care systems, family offices and offshore captives.  She was a member of Slocum’s senior management team overseeing planning, hedge funds, legal, risk management and human resources. Prior to Slocum, KC was a Consultant at Wyatt Investment Consulting and Ennis, Knupp & Associates.

KC earned her M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in Decision Sciences from Indiana University.  KC holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation as well as the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.  KC is a frequent conference speaker on the topics of enterprise return and risk, alternative investments and balance sheet strategies.
