John R. Teramana

John joined NEPC in 2008 with over twelve years of investment experience. John’s consulting responsibilities include servicing Taft-Hartley and public pension funds. John works with clients to facilitate asset allocation studies, manager searches, performance measurement and various technical projects. John is also a member of the Fixed Income Advisory Group. Prior to joining NEPC, John was an Investment Operations Officer at Keystate Corporate Management. There he was a member of a team of three investment officers that managed over $1.5 billion in fixed income portfolios; and was responsible for all internal cash flow reporting for the fixed income portfolios. He also prepared and compiled portfolio analytics for clients, and supervised portfolio client audits. Prior to working at Keystate, John worked at Standish Asset Management as a Client Service Associate, and a Portfolio Management Assistant. Prior to working at Standish, John was employed at Mellon Financial as a Senior Performance Measurement Analyst and a Senior Trust Accountant.
John received his M.B.A. from Duquesne University and his B.S. from Kent State University. He is currently pursuing the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.
