Jeffrey E. Roberts

Jeff is involved in NEPC's private markets research and due diligence activities, in addition to providing consulting services for the non-traditional asset classes of various public, corporate, Taft-Hartley and endowment/foundation clients.

Prior to joining NEPC in December of 2008, Jeff was an Officer in the The PrivateEdge Group at State Street Corporation.  In his role at State Street, Jeff was a member of a team that provided private equity performance and analytics to institutional investors, created custom reporting packages, board reports and presentations.  He was also responsible for preparing qualitative investment monitoring reports for over twenty Private Equity partnerships.  Jeff also worked for Lucent Technologies as a Senior Financial Analyst.  While at Lucent, Jeff was a member of Lucent Venture Partners, a group that made direct investments in early stage technology companies within the communications sector.  Jeff performed market research and comparative company analysis as part of the due diligence process for potential investments as well as for the post-IPO/acquisition public portfolio.  Prior to LVP, Jeff was an Analyst in Lucent's asset management group supporting the alternative investment activities of the Company's pension fund.  Jeff began his professional career as a litigation assistant with Cravath, Swaine & Moore. 

Jeff received his M.B.A. from Babson College, and his B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College.
