Jeff Pickett, CFA, CAIA

Jeff joined NEPC in 2009 bringing ten years of investment experience to the firm.  At NEPC, Jeff assists clients with the development of investment policies and objectives, the evaluation and selection of investment managers, and the measurement and analysis of investment performance.  Jeff’s consultant responsibilities include servicing endowments, foundations, public pension funds and corporate plans.

Prior to joining NEPC, Jeff was a member of the investment consulting staff at at CTC Consulting in Portland, Oregon focusing on ultra high net worth clients ranging from $50 million to $1 billion in assets.  Before CTC, Jeff worked at WellPoint, Inc. where he was a member of the investment team responsible for overseeing external investment managers for corporate, pension and foundation assets in excess of $20 billion.   Before WellPoint, Inc., Jeff was Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager at Biechele Royce Advisors.  Jeff’s employment history also includes working at General Motors Corporation and Delco Electronics.

Jeff received his M.B.A. in Finance from New York University, his M.S. in Applied Science & Engineering from Yale University, and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.  Jeff holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and the Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst (CAIA) designations.
