Eric Vallo

Eric joined NEPC in 2009, and began his career in the investment industry in 2006. Eric’s consulting responsibilities include servicing public pension funds, endowments, foundations, Taft-Hartley pension funds, and corporate plans. Eric works with clients to facilitate asset allocation studies, manager searches, performance measurement and various technical projects.
Prior to joining NEPC, Eric was employed as a performance analyst in the Asset Management group of Chrysler LLC. In this role he managed the strategic and day-to-day investment activities of the Chrysler pension fund’s alternative asset portfolios, focusing on the real estate, infrastructure and private equity asset classes. While at Chrysler, Eric also performed financial forecasting and analysis as a financial analyst for Mack Avenue Engine Plant and Indianapolis Foundry, manufacturing facilities producing engines and engine components. Prior to that, Eric was the Controller for PacWest Racing Group / PWR Championship Racing, professional auto racing teams competing the CART FedEx Championship Series. Eric has also worked for Deloitte & Touche LLP as an auditor.
Eric received his M.B.A. from the University of Colorado and his B.S. from Miami University. He is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
