Administrative Assistant (Cambridge, MA)


Level:
Entry Level (0 - 1 years of experience)

Job Summary:
Responsibilities include copying, assembling and monitoring the compilation of quarterly Investment Performance Analysis (IPA) books, Searches and educational presentations; preparing and editing correspondence and other materials; ongoing maintenance of client data in our company database; print and graphic support; various mailings; and filing.  Act as back up for the Receptionist.  Assist with the preparation and assembly of materials for new business presentations. 

Job Requirements:

Consultant Support Analyst (Atlanta, GA)


Level:
Experienced (2-3 years of experience)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Consultant Support Analyst in our newly opened Atlanta, Georgia office.  This position will support our two consultants in that office, as well as consultants, to be assigned, in another location.  This is a technical support position for our consulting staff, assisting in investment manager search, asset allocation studies, performance monitoring, preparation of client reports, special projects, and conducting due diligence research on investment management firms. 



Job Requirements:

Desktop Publisher (Cambridge, MA)


Level:
Experienced (3-5 years of experience)

Job Summary:

This individual will be responsible for producing high impact presentation materials for Consultants and Research professionals at NEPC.  This will include new business presentations, special projects, white papers, some client specific reports and special requests based on business priorities.  This individual will create and implement appropriate processes for streamlined and efficient publication of all requested materials. 



Job Requirements:

3-5 years of Desk Top Publishing experience in an environment that involves integration of text, art, analytical data, tables and charts.  Bachelor’s Degree or applicable education preferred.  Must have complete computer proficiency and broad based knowledge of desk-top publishing software in a Microsoft-based environment.  Expertise with all Microsoft office and Adobe software products required. Private Markets Sr. Consultant/Consultant (Cambridge, MA)

Job Summary:

Candidates for this position will most likely be serving in a comparable role at a plan sponsor, investment management or consulting firm specializing in Private Markets (private equity, venture capital, real estate and real assets).  You will serve as the primary contact with private markets managers, which includes identifying, interviewing and performing due diligence (qualitative interpretation and quantitative analysis of data) for new private markets managers, as well as existing managers.  Perform ongoing monitoring and due diligence of existing managers, including manager meeting write-ups and written commentary on managers’ strategy for the firm’s quarterly newsletter.  Responsible for the review and evaluation of private markets investment strategies and opportunities, and performing due diligence on private markets investment funds and vehicles.  It is expected that this individual will be involved with negotiation of partnership agreements and investment commitments and relationships.  Interaction with clients and new business presentations, as necessary.

Receptionist (Cambridge, MA)


Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a full-time, long-term, professional, career receptionist for our Cambridge office. Hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM. Responsibilities include: Greet all visitors to the Company, including signing for all deliveries. Answer, screen and direct all incoming telephone calls. Distribute all faxes and packages received. Pick up, sort and distribute mail. Oversee operation of photocopy and general office machines. Maintain reception area, conference rooms, kitchen/galley areas in a neat and presentable manner. Maintain inventory and place orders for all office supplies (including stationary, kitchen supplies, etc.) Order catering for in-house meetings.

Job Requirements:
A basic knowledge of general office procedures. Must have a professional, outgoing, pleasant demeanor; organized and highly dependable. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Minimum of 1 – 4 years experience required. High school diploma with some college education preferred.

Performance Analyst (MA)


Level:
Entry Level (1-2 years of experience)

Job Summary:
Primary responsibility is to analyze monthly accounting data to measure investment performance for our clients. Other responsibilities include interaction with custodian banks, reconciling portfolio returns, and creating customized graphs. Each PA works with approximately 20 clients and is responsible for accurately calculating monthly portfolio returns and characteristics. All types of investment transactions are tracked and processed using custom PC software. Data is gathered from hard copy statements, and electronically using various bank downloads and data files. Some data input is required. Each PA interacts with multiple analysts and consultants within NEPC, as well as with our clients' custodians and investment managers.

Position Includes:
  • Ensure that monthly data is received from each custodian bank in a timely fashion
  • Enter data in the ICC system promptly
  • Calculate portfolio returns and verify as many as possible with the investment managers
  • Produce monthly flash reports as needed by consultants
  • Submit as much client data as possible each quarter before universe creation
  • Generate timely IPA reports as needed each quarter
  • Download IPA reports and save them in the appropriate network folder. Notify consultants and other team members.
  • Update the custom IPA graphs using PowerPoint
  • Make regular backups of the ICC database
  • Maintain the "Analyst Notes" document for each client
  • Maintain the list of hired managers in the SatuitCRM database when any client makes a change
  • Meet with consultants quarterly to review each client


Job Requirements:

Minimum of 1 - 2 years experience in fund accounting preferred. Excellent attention to detail and strong computer skills, as well as time management and organizational skills are critical. Must be organized, highly dependable with good communications skills and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.   Competitive salary and full benefits, including profit sharing and 401(k) plans.
